Louisiana State University Libraries Special Collections in Baton Rouge is seeking applications for a tenure-track position as Head of Archival Processing.
The Head of Archival Processing oversees all aspects of arranging, describing, and processing archival holdings of LSU Libraries Special Collections; hires, supervises, trains, and assigns work to Archival Processing staff; assists in acquiring and appraising archival collections; sets policies, procedures, and priorities for the processing and preservation of archival collections, in consultation with appropriate personnel; provides regularly scheduled public services; participates in the overall management of Special Collections; and works toward promotion and tenure.
The base salary is $60,000/annually.
