Purpose:

To promote the association and its mission through engagement with members, institutions, and the public.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies.
  • Create and manage social media and communications.
  • Coordinate events (with Membership Committee?) and partnerships.
  • Increase visibility of SCAA activities.

Membership:

  • 4–5 members, including a chair.
  • Term: 2 years.
  • Board liaison: Blog Editor/Outreach Manager

Meetings:

Monthly virtual meetings.

Reporting:

Quarterly updates to the Executive Board.

Decision-Making:

Consensus or majority vote for major initiatives.

Deliverables:

Annual outreach plan and event calendar.
